Therapy can be a beautiful, transformative experience. As you travel this journey, you’ll gain knowledge and self-awareness that you can apply throughout your life and begin living your true and authentic self.
Individual Therapy
As a mental health therapist, the foundation of my work is anchored in nurturing a meaningful relationship with you. Cultivating an emotional bond of trust, compassion, care, and respect; agreement on the goals of your therapy; and collaboration on our work together is essential. To begin gracefully redefining ourselves and our lives we must first identify what is no longer working. What if you were willing to explore the infinite possibilities of a renewed foundation being formed? Together we can tenderly uncover the parts of your life that are not working and empower you to create healthier changes.

Young Adults
Your twenties and early thirties are a time of self-discovery, newfound independence, and exciting possibilities, but they can also bring uncertainty, pressure, and growing pains. As you transition into adulthood, you may find yourself questioning your path, juggling evolving relationships, career ambitions, financial responsibilities, and personal identity, all while trying to make sense of who you are and where you’re headed. The world is shifting and so are you. While you’re striving to carve out your own future, you may feel weighed down by expectations; both your own and those imposed by society.

Teen Counseling
Modern day pressures are unfolding before our eyes and teenagers are struggling more than ever before, which means parents and caregivers are too. My passion and purpose for working with teens is centered on helping them discover or uncover their strengths, encourage self-refection, visualize how things could be different and empower them to make positive changes in their lives. It is remarkably empowering for teens to reflect on what matters to them as individuals.

Children's Therapy
My approach to therapy with children, young adolescents, and families is firmly rooted in the principles of child-centered play therapy. I believe the most effective and lasting change occurs when the therapeutic relationship becomes the foundation for growth, where the child’s own experiences drive the healing process. The non-directive, child-centered approach I specialize in empowers children to unlock and express their deepest emotions, fears, desires, and strengths through the powerful medium of play—their natural language. By fostering a secure, compassionate, and accepting environment, I work closely with families to create the necessary space for children to explore, reflect, and grow. My goal is to guide families through these pivotal moments of healing, emphasizing the profound importance of unconditional acceptance, trust, and the belief in the child’s inherent ability to heal and thrive.

Couples and Family Counseling
Close relationships are essential to our happiness and well-being and are also an important predictor of physical health. My approach to couples counseling is to help individuals involved in a romantic relationship gain insight into their relationship, resolve conflict, and improve relationship satisfaction utilizing a variety of therapeutic interventions. Family counseling focuses more on the behaviors of all family members and the way these behaviors affect not only individual family members, but also relationships between family members and the family unit as a whole.
Co-parenting Counseling
Co-parenting can be both one of the most challenging and most rewarding aspects of parenting. While co-parenting often arises from divorce or separation, it is not confined to those circumstances—each co-parenting dynamic is distinct and presents its own set of complexities. Navigating the emotional and logistical hurdles of separation becomes even more intricate when children are involved. In these situations, it is essential that both parents continue to collaborate for the well-being of their children, putting aside personal differences for their shared benefit. Co-parenting counseling provides the tools to understand the common stages of co-parenting, enhance communication, resolve conflicts constructively, and create a parenting plan that prioritizes the child’s needs. We are here to support you in fostering a cooperative, harmonious, and effective co-parenting relationship that empowers both parents and nurtures the children.
